The addition of 18 new beds for the palliative care center of Marie-Clarac Hospital

On april 11, with the announcement of 18 new beds by Dr Gaétan Barrette, Minister of Health and Social Serrvices, the Pavilion Mère Anselme Marie, which now has 36 beds, became the largest center of palliative care in Quebec. Mother Pierre Anne Mandato is very happy. After months of waiting and work, the team efforts of workers in health care, of doctors, of nurses, and of the entire personal of Marie Clarac Hospital are rewarded. Finally, the Pavilion Mère Anselme Marie will operate at full capacity and will be able to further meet the needs of the population.

This pavilion, built to accomodate persons at the end of life, is, luminous, welcoming, full of serenity and humanity. It is a true oasis of peace in Marie-Clarac Hospital.

The great dream of Mother Pierre Anne is finally fullfilled!
