EDUCATION ASSISTANCE

Equator has a tropical climate, with a diverse landscape of hills and valleys and a picturesque shoreline dotted by sandy beaches and fishing villages. Some 1,000 kilometres from the coast are the Galápagos Islands, renowned for their unique wildlife.

Beyond all of these natural wonders, however, is a great need for educational support. Guided by the principle that learning means growth, the Sisters of Charity of Saint Mary in Tumbaco, Equator, focus primarily on teaching. The sisters also visit families to organize support and evangelization activities.
