Bicentenary of Mother Clarac

The year 2017 marks the bicentenary of the birth of Marie Louise Angélique Clarac, foundress of the community of the Sisters of Charity of Saint-Mary (April 1817-2017).

Many celebrations will take place throughout the world, everywhere where the works of Mother Clarac continue, whether it be at the mother-house in Italy, in Montreal or elsewhere. The religious of the Community are united in giving thanks to her who, with simplicity, charisma, faith, courage and perseverance, did so much give assistance to the underprivileged.

Still today, the religious of the Community are proud to transmit the message of Mother Clarac: Good, well done, done with love, is always propagated with the help of God.
